He has held key leadership roles at both VMware and Carbon Black where he focused on building at-scale global security programs and security services.

Dr. Sheeba Armoogum is an Associate Professor in the Department of ICT at the University of Mauritius (UoM), where she leads the CyberSecurity & Forensics Research Group (CSFRG). A recognised authority in cybersecurity, she holds a Ph.D. in Cybersecurity and brings over two decades of expertise in academic leadership, digital innovation, and applied cyber research. She is the former Head of the ICT Department at the University of Mauritius. Dr. Armoogum is the sole inventor of a patented Intrusion Detection and Prevention System registered in South Africa under WIPO classification H04L, and the co-inventor of an AI-Driven Ethical Governance System for Cyber Threat Intelligence and Digital Forensics Incident Response, filed under WIPO classification G06F. These innovations reflect her contribution to advancing proactive, AI-enabled threat mitigation strategies.

She is also an Independent Non-Executive Director at Rogers Capital Technology Services Ltd., and a certified trainer in Research Ethics, IPv6 technologies, big data, and ISMS (ISO/IEC 27001:2022). Her involvement in international cybersecurity and ethical governance committees demonstrates her influence beyond academia, contributing to national and global digital policy frameworks. Her multidisciplinary research portfolio spans cybersecurity, AI-driven threat intelligence, quantum cybersecurity, cyberpsychology, machine learning, blockchain security, digital forensics, and brain–computer interfaces. She supervises numerous PhD and postgraduate research projects, especially in cybersecurity resilience and AI-governed systems. Dr. Armoogum has authored and co-authored books, book chapters, and peer-reviewed high-impact journal articles indexed in Scopus and Web of Science and contributes to Q1 journals. She is also the recipient of prestigious accolades, including Africa’s Woman Leaders Award (2024), GlobalWIIN Special Recognition Award (2023), STEM Academia & Research Award (2024). A frequent keynote speaker at international cybersecurity and AI forums, she is deeply committed to strengthening digital trust, institutional cyber resilience, and ethical AI deployment in emerging economies.

Dr. Angelina Gokhale is an information security and deep learning enthusiast with over 14 years of academic and 4 years of industry experience. She holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, where her research focused on the application of machine learning, deep learning, and quantum machine learning to image forensics.

She has taught a wide range of courses in information security management—covering database and application security, network infrastructure, and security management practices—as well as machine learning and deep learning. Currently, she serves as a Senior Data Scientist at NETMONASTERY Inc., where she develops machine learning and generative AI solutions for their SIEM platform.

Dr. Gokhale is also an Editorial Review Board Member for the International Journal of Digital Crime and Forensics (IGI Global) and teaches as Guest Faculty at the Symbiosis Center for Information Technology. Her research has been published in Web of Science and Scopus-indexed journals and is well-cited.

She is actively engaged in the cybersecurity community, having volunteered and organized events at international conferences such as Nullcon, and remains dedicated to advancing cybersecurity awareness, especially among students and early-career professionals.

Roberto Soares is an offensive security specialist with over 15 years of experience in penetration testing and vulnerability research, focusing on Apple environments. At Thallium Security, he leads red team tool development and manages internal security tests for corporate clients. Before founding Thallium, Roberto worked at EY, Nubank and others companies in Brazil, where he conducted large-scale security audits and implemented advanced threat simulation practices. He holds OSMR. Regularly speaks at national and international conferences and co-authors technical articles on bypassing Apple protection mechanisms.
